This is just a blog about my preparations to go to the Sakura con and other conventions. It will have info about my costume, how I made it, other crafts that I'm working on and things of that nature.
Should I make a new costume for Halloween?

and now the boots.
I made a simple boot over for my hero of past boots. They both took me about 20 mins to make and I was stressed on time or I would have made them better. What do you guys think.
A little more info in how I made the boots.
I made them by placing my shoe on the center of a piece of fabric and folding the fabric upwards to cover the base. Think of it like trying to wrap a cereal box with the longer piece aimed upwards. Then fold upwards to try and make sure that you have enough room. after that I pinned the fabric together and cut off the excess fabric. Then I removed the shoe and turned the fabric inside out so that it wouldn't look horrible afterwords. Then I sewed it together remembering to leave enough fabric there so that I could put the shoes back in. when you sew the back end of the shoe make sure to keep it tight so that the shoes don't slip out during running. I wish I had pics of the process so the next time I do something like this I can better show everyone. I hope this helps you with your own projects.
